Every time I post a picture with one of my real old ladders in it, I seem to get roughly 3000 compliments on it.

You can see from the shapes that this little baking project actually happened right around Easter, and now it鈥檚 of course well past Easter time.馃檪 So now you know how far in advance I start working on my blog posts!

You kind of need to take a running leap at these things when you.only work an hour or so a day.So, anyway.. Once you have your shapes all cut out, bake them in an oven preheated to 350 for about 7 minutes, rotating your pans halfway through.

We used mini cookie cutters, which were the perfect size for making little sandwich cookies, but if you use larger cutters, you may need to increase your baking time by a minute or 2.. Yum!Ready for decorating or eating just as they are!

I like to whip up some.

ziplock bag icing. If you鈥檙e trying to stick to eating healthy foods that make you feel good and energized, but can鈥檛 seem to shake that overwhelming need for choooooocolate, give it a try!It鈥檚 pretty normal to feel a little strained when you鈥檙e in the middle of renovating your home or doing some kind of big DIY project.

Tearing our rooms apart and rebuilding them can definitely make them more comfortable, enjoyable, and functional, but getting through it is never easy.. We bought our house with the thought that we鈥檇 be renovating it pretty much continuously for at least 20ish years, so we expected to be living in half-built rooms and with a bit of a feeling of chaos, but we also knew that we do find remodeling to be pretty exciting and rewarding, so it seemed worth it.. Of course, you can鈥檛 go through something like this without learning a few (sometimes painful) lessons. The one I鈥檓 learning lately is that, although I鈥檓 totally comfortable living in a construction zone all the time, I鈥檓 a lot more comfortable with living in certain stages of the chaotic process than others..

Which brings me to our latest project.. Here鈥檚 how things are looking right now..This is the back hall off of our master bedroom.
